Hello! And welcome to Possibility Generator; the first fully-functional, entirely computer generated, escapist experience. We're glad you've decided to join us today.
Before we get started, we are required to tell you that it is possible that you will not return unchanged, it is possible that you will not return undamaged, it is possible that you will not return.
We'd like to once again thank you for choosing Possibility Generator as opposed to some of our more popular competitors like the Canton Public Library, the Milton Public Library, the Randolph Public Library, the Dedham Public Library, the Brockton Public Library... and other such places. We know our competitors are significantly cheaper and that's why we're better.
Plus, our motto really says it all: why escape with just your brain when you could escape with your whole body?
Once you enter the doors in front of you, you'll be able to explore an entirely virtual alternate reality of your own life for one hour. This is why you may feel like you've been stalked for the past month since you made your appointment. Don't worry, we haven't given any of your data to anyone else. Also, please remember, you are only allowed one hour.
Unfortunately we cannot force you to come out of the virtual reality, there have been some truly adverse affects on those we tested on, so you're going to need to have a bit of self-control. If you do not leave after one hour you will receive notifications every five minutes telling you to leave. They are extremely annoying notifications that should be hard to ignore, but maybe you're used to that sort of thing.
One hour.
Now, we know that when it comes to technology, safety is your primary concern. That is why all of our facilities have been tested extensively and why we do constant maintenance on any parts of our facilities that you interact with.
Safety is also why you're here.
At Possibility Generator, you can fly, meet the dinosaurs, or yell at your boss for the entire hour. You have complete control.
Unlike in your real life.
Because, let's face it, you're a coward. Most of the things people do here are things that are completely possible outside of a computer. But that's too scary for you.
Our dinosaur generators are gathering dust.
There have been a few cases that turned positive after their time at Possibility Generator. A particularly notable one broke up with her boyfriend after practicing here. There have also been the cases that became addicted to the virtual reality. They come back again and again, finding comfort in the fake life here. And then, there are those who never left. Why leave a place with no consequences?
But that won't happen to you! You might be a coward, but you're not an idiot. You're ready for this.
The doors to the main room will open momentarily. You'll be hooked up to the virtual reality generators and begin exploring your life in a whole new way. Enjoy yourself for the next hour. And as a final reminder:
